Which bulk tallow should I choose?
Choose this one if your label, listing, or sourcing standard needs a grass-fed, grass-finished claim. It is the only bulk tallow we sell with that claim. If you don’t need it, Bulk Suet Tallow costs less per pound.
How does shipping work for bulk tallow?
Like any order: checkout calculates shipping from your ZIP code and order weight, and you pay it with your order. Each bucket and each 35 lb block ships in its own box. Bulk tallow ships separately from soap and body care, so a mixed order can arrive in separate deliveries with one shipping charge.
Can I try it before a large order?
Yes. There is no sample size, but there is no minimum either: order one 7 lb bucket here at its listed price, $36.75. Shipping is calculated at checkout, like any order.
Is there a spec sheet or lab test for this tallow?
Yes. It is sold to our written tallow specification: edible-grade, from USDA-inspected beef fat, with free fatty acids 0.80% max, peroxide value 10.0 meq/kg max, moisture 0.2% max, and insoluble impurities 0.10% max, within the 0.15% limit FDA allows for tallow in cosmetics (21 CFR 700.27). Lot 26190 of this tallow was tested by Light Labs, with results released July 31, 2026: moisture 0.17%, peroxide value 7.4 meq/kg, and no E. coli, Salmonella, or Staph aureus detected.
