Wholesale and Private-Label Tallow Soap for Ranchers and Farm Stores
Add 4 oz tallow soap bars to ranch stores, farmstands, butcher shops, CSA boxes, and agricultural gift programs. Start with established stock formulas, test samples, or build a private-label line that connects the finished bar to your farm story.

Can a ranch or farm sell its own branded tallow soap?
Yes. A farm business can begin with eligible established WTS formulas through private label, then move to custom manufacturing when it has a specific formula brief and sufficient volume. WTS can also supply stock bars for farmstands, farmers markets, CSA add-ons, butcher-shop retail, and rural gift stores that want to test demand before launching a house brand.
Give the bar a clear job in the farm business.
Farmstand retail
Add a shelf-stable, non-food product with an ingredient story that fits traditional-living and farm-made assortments.
CSA and gift boxes
Use a full-size bar as a seasonal add-on, member gift, or paid upgrade alongside the farm’s core products.
Private-label farm line
Place your brand on an eligible established formula while keeping the first production step manageable.
Custom farm collaboration
Develop beyond the stock catalog when the ingredient, scent, formula, volume, and story are clearly defined.
Separate the farm story from unsupported product claims.
Customers may care about animal husbandry, sourcing, local agriculture, whole-animal use, and traditional production. State only the facts your farm and the finished product can document. Keep health, disease, and treatment claims off soap labels and sales materials unless the product is lawfully prepared for that regulated use.
Bring these facts to the brief
- Your farm, ranch, or store story
- Where and how the bar will be sold
- The customer and intended use
- Desired formula and scent direction
- Packaging and label responsibilities
- Quantity, launch date, and reorder plan
Lower entry pricing. Better rates as volume grows.
Build a mixed assortment across eligible WTS bars. Different scents and formulas combine toward the same volume tier.

Prices are per bar. Shipping is calculated separately. Product availability and lead times vary by order size.
Use four stages to protect the first launch.
Test stock bars
Use samples or a small assortment to learn which formulas customers understand and buy.
Choose the story
Define the exact sourcing and business facts that belong on shelf signage, packaging, and product pages.
Launch private label
Use an eligible established formula when the product fit is proven and your brand should lead.
Earn the custom step
Move to custom only when customer demand and the formula brief justify more development.
Price from landed cost, not the bar alone.
Include the wholesale bar, labels, wraps, boxes, freight or parcel shipping, storage, staff time, payment fees, samples, damaged units, and retail markdowns. Farm shops that sell through other retailers also need room for the retailer’s margin.
Useful product pairings
- Beef, bison, or heritage livestock farm stores
- Honey and beeswax gift assortments
- Fiber farm and rural lifestyle shops
- CSA member gifts and seasonal boxes
- Farm wedding and event favors
Answers before you put the farm name on a bar.
What is the private-label starting quantity?
Private-label planning is available without a fixed minimum using eligible established stock formulas. Confirm the formula, mix, availability, packaging, and timing for your project.
Can we provide our own farm tallow?
That is a custom-manufacturing question, not an automatic private-label option. Contact WTS with the source, handling records, volume, formula goal, and timeline so feasibility can be evaluated.
Can a farm mix several bars in one order?
Eligible stock bars currently combine toward public volume tiers. Confirm current inventory and private-label eligibility for the exact assortment.
Do stock bars arrive with retail labels?
No. Current stock bars are supplied without consumer-facing labels. Confirm who will design, review, print, apply, and assemble the final packaging.
Can we sample before launching?
Yes. Share the farm-store concept and formulas you want to compare. WTS will confirm what samples are currently available.
