Wholesale Terms & Conditions

This Wholesale Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Wholesale Tallow Soap LLC (“Seller”) and the business or commercial buyer purchasing products (“Buyer”). By placing an order with Seller, Buyer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Business Purchases

Wholesale Tallow Soap USA is a business-to-business supplier. Buyer is responsible for maintaining any resale certificate, tax ID, license, labeling, or other documentation required for Buyer’s business and sales channels.

2. Ordering and Quantities

Stock Orders: There is no minimum bar quantity. Buyers may order one stock bar or build a mixed assortment. Eligible stock bars combine across the published volume-pricing tiers.
Private-Label Orders: There is no fixed bar minimum for eligible established formulas. Formula eligibility, packaging responsibilities, pricing, availability, and timing are confirmed for the specific project.
Custom Formulations: A minimum of 200 bars per SKU applies unless a written project agreement states otherwise. Custom work is quoted separately.
Bulk Tallow: Bulk tallow is sold in whole pounds starting at 1 lb, with up to 50 lb per box. Shipping estimates shown at checkout are not charged in the order total. Shipping is invoiced separately after purchase and must be paid before fulfillment.
Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance by Seller. Seller may cancel and refund an order it cannot fulfill as submitted.

3. Natural Product Variations

Important: WTS soaps are made with natural grass-fed tallow and other formula-specific ingredients. Finished bars can vary naturally between batches.

Color: Natural ingredients, season, and cattle diet can affect the finished color.
Scent: Essential-oil scents can soften over time.
Surface and Texture: Minor surface variation, including soda ash, can occur in cold-process soap.

These natural variations are not manufacturing defects and are not grounds for return.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed in United States dollars and may change before an order is placed. The price shown in the cart and checkout applies to the submitted stock order. Eligible bar quantities automatically receive the applicable published volume price.

Custom Formulation Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin a custom manufacturing run unless the written project agreement states otherwise.
The remaining balance and shipping charges are due before the finished order is released.
Failure to pay the remaining balance within 30 days of completion may result in forfeiture of the deposit and finished stock.

5. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Orders ship from the United States using the method shown at checkout or confirmed in writing. Individual parcel cartons may be limited to 50 lb to reduce crushing risk, so large orders can arrive in multiple cartons. Freight charges shown as $0 at checkout are quoted and invoiced separately when the order requires freight.

Buyer must provide an accurate, deliverable address and remain available to receive the shipment. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, or unsuccessful delivery attempt remain Buyer’s responsibility.

6. Returns and Cancellations

Standard Stock Orders

New, unopened stock soap bars may be eligible for return when Buyer requests a Return Merchandise Authorization within 14 days of delivery.

A 10% restocking fee applies to approved non-defective returns.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping and for providing tracking.
Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Returned products must arrive in undamaged, unopened, resalable condition.

Samples, test batches, sale items, and approved custom or private-label production are final sale. The complete process and conditions are stated in the Return & Refund Policy.

7. Damages and Shortages

Inspect the shipment when it arrives. Report damaged or missing items to hello@wholesaletallowsoapusa.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include the order number, photos of the outer shipping carton, photos of the affected product, and a description of the shortage or damage.

8. Private-Label and Custom Responsibilities

Buyer is responsible for its consumer-facing brand, labels, packaging copy, claims, sales-channel requirements, and final compliance review unless a written project agreement assigns a specific responsibility to Seller. An established private-label formula should not be assumed to be exclusive.
