Return & Refund Policy
Last Updated: January 2026Wholesale Tallow Soap LLC operates as a commercial manufacturer. Unlike retail environments, we do not strictly offer “satisfaction guarantees” on wholesale volumes. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. General Return Policy
We do not accept returns on Samples, Test Batches, Sale Items, or Custom/Private Label orders. These sales are final.
For standard wholesale cases, you may return undamaged, unopened soap bars in their original master cases for a refund, subject to the strict stipulations below:
- Time Limit: You must request an RMA within 14 days of delivery.
- Condition: Products must be in pristine, resalable condition. Do not “mix and match” soaps or toss them loosely into a box. If bars arrive back to us dented, scratched, or damaged due to poor packing on your part, no refund will be issued.
- Restocking Fee: A 10% Restocking Fee applies to all non-defective returns. This covers the labor required to unpack, inspect, and restock the inventory.
2. Damages & Manufacturing Defects
We take great care in packing your order to withstand heavy freight handling. However, if your order arrives damaged, you are eligible for a replacement at no additional cost.
- Time Limit: You must report damages to hello@wholesaletallowsoapusa.com within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after 48 hours will be denied.
- Required Evidence: To process a claim, you must email us:
- Your Order Number.
- Clear photos of the outer shipping box (showing any crushing/punctures).
- Clear photos of the damaged product inside the box.
3. Natural Product Variations (Not a Defect)
We do not use synthetic whiteners or stabilizers. Therefore, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Natural color variations between batches.
- Minor “Soda Ash” (a harmless, natural white powder that can form on cold-process soap).
- Scent perception (e.g., “It smells too strong/too weak”). We strongly recommend purchasing a Sample Kit before committing to a master case.
4. How to Request a Return (RMA)
To initiate a return for a refund (subject to the 10% restocking fee):
- Email hello@wholesaletallowsoapusa.com with your order number and reason for return.
- If approved, we will issue you an RMA Number.
- Ship the product back to us using a standard carrier (UPS/FedEx).
- Tracking: You must provide us with the tracking number. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Shipping Charges: We cannot refund charges for the original shipping/handling or for the cost of shipping to return products. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
5. Refused Shipments & Incorrect Addresses
Shipping heavy cases of soap is expensive. If you refuse the shipment instead of receiving it, or if the shipment is returned to us because you provided an invalid address, you are responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.
In this situation, we will deduct the following from your refund:
- The Original Shipping Cost (what we paid to send it to you).
- The Return Shipping Cost (what the carrier bills us to bring it back).
- The 10% Restocking Fee.
6. Custom & Private Label Orders
Strictly Non-Refundable.
Private Label and Custom Formulation orders are manufactured specifically for your brand. Once production has begun or ingredients have been ordered, the order cannot be canceled, refunded, or returned under any circumstances.
