Standard charcoal soaps are famous for drying out the skin. We fixed that. We built a “Spa Quality” bar that uses Activated Charcoal to draw out toxins, but acts as a moisturizer thanks to high levels of Avocado Oil and Shea Butter.
- Absorption: Activated Charcoal powder binds to surface impurities, oil, and city pollution, washing them down the drain.
- Replenishment: We added 8% Avocado Oil and 6% Shea Butter to immediately repair the lipid barrier after cleansing.
- Aromatherapy: A sophisticated blend of Lavender, Cypress, Bergamot, and Clary Sage creates a grounding “Forest Spa” atmosphere.

❖ What does the scent smell like?
It is a sophisticated, unisex aroma. The Lavender provides a fresh top note, while the Cypress and Bergamot give it a clean, woody body. The Clary Sage adds a grounding, herbal finish. It smells like a high-end spa.
❖ Does the charcoal stain washcloths?
The lather will appear grey due to the high charcoal content. While it rinses clean from the skin instantly, it can leave a temporary grey mark on white washcloths, which washes out in the laundry.
❖ Is this good for acne?
While we cannot make medical claims, this is our top recommendation for oily or congestion-prone skin. Charcoal absorbs excess sebum, and the essential oils were chosen for their balancing properties.
❖ Is it drying?
No. We specifically formulated this with Avocado Oil (8%) and Shea Butter (6%) to counteract the drying nature of charcoal. It cleans deeply but leaves the barrier intact.
