Our tallow is pasture-raised, grass-fed, and grass-finished from small family farms: dry-rendered, food-grade, never bleached or deodorized, with no additives. Our tallow standard

Curing and timing

Bars can ship before they finish curing, so they reach you sooner. The sodium lactate in our formulas helps them firm up faster, and curing after delivery does not change the quality. You can sell them whenever you choose; we recommend at least 2 to 4 weeks of curing from the production date. See the Production and Curing Policy.

What is Lavender & Tallow Soap scented with?

Lavandin and vanilla essential oils, in equal parts. Lavandin is a lavender hybrid with an herbal floral scent, and the vanilla softens it.

Why does it cost more than our standard scents?

Its ingredients cost more, so it has its own price at each tier. It still counts toward your combined soap tier with every other bar, and a 2 oz sample is $3, like any scent.
