Timing depends on your formula and quantity. Put your launch date in your brief. Bars can ship before they finish curing, and we recommend 2 to 4 weeks of curing from the production date before you sell them.

Is 200 bars the only minimum?
For soap, yes. A custom soap formula needs an order of 200 bars, and catalog soap can be ordered in any quantity. The only other minimums are on lip balm: 50 tubes for stock lip balm and 400 tubes for a custom one.
What should my brief include?
Your product idea, who it is for, how many bars you expect to order, your packaging plan, and your target launch date. The clearer the brief, the more the pilot can settle.
What if I need more than one revision round?
Each extra round is $125 plus shipping. Send all of your feedback on the samples as one consolidated list, so each round counts.
How is production priced?
We quote it after the pilot, once you have approved the INCI declaration, measured pH, and specifications. Have a written quote from another US manufacturer? Ours comes in under it.
Will you beat another manufacturer’s quote?
Yes. Send us a written quote from another US manufacturer, dated in the last 30 days, for 200 bars or more. If the formula and packaging are comparable, we beat its per-unit price for the same quantity. The $250 pilot is separate. See how the price promise works.
Do I get the formula percentages?
Not by default. You approve the full INCI declaration, but exact percentages and manufacturing methods stay confidential unless a transfer or license is agreed separately.
How long does a custom order take?
It depends on the formula and quantity, and we confirm the production date when you order. Bars can ship before they finish curing; we recommend 2 to 4 weeks of curing from the production date before you sell them. See our Production and Curing Policy, and include your launch date in your brief.
Can you build the brand and store around it too?
Yes. Our complete brand build covers the product, packaging, and a Shopify store. You can launch with catalog soap under your own label and add a custom formula later.
