Grass-fed tallow and jojoba in a water-based lotion

Every scent shares one base. Scented jars add their scent ingredients at the end of the list, and Unscented adds nothing.

Pasture-raised, grass-fed, grass-finished suet tallow: from small family farms, listed right after water.
Reverse osmosis water: purified water, first on the list. It makes this a lotion, not a balm.
Jojoba oil and glycerin: a liquid plant wax and a plant-derived humectant.
BTMS-25, stearic acid, and Optiphen: the emulsifier and thickener that hold it together, and the preservative.

How is the lotion different from tallow balm?

It contains water. The lotion blends water, grass-fed tallow, and jojoba oil with an emulsifier. Our Tallow Balm lists no water: it is tallow and beeswax with oils and botanicals.

Are the 8 oz and 16 oz jars the same lotion?

Yes. Each scent has the same ingredient list in both sizes. The 8 oz jar is $12 and the 16 oz jar is $18, and the 16 oz has its own, larger volume discounts.

Does the lotion contain a preservative?

Yes. Every scent lists Optiphen, the preservative in this water-based formula.
