When orders outgrow what you can make, we can produce your soap or balm formula. It starts with a $250 pilot per formula, and you approve every spec before production.

Can I start a tallow business without making the products myself?
Yes. Order any catalog product in any quantity. It ships unlabeled for your brand: order printed labels and soap boxes from us at live prices or use your own, and we can apply them for $0.75 each. See how private label works.
Is there a print-on-demand option for tallow skincare?

I already make tallow balm. Can I add your soap under my brand?
Yes. Keep making your balm and add our soap, lotion, deodorant, or lip balm under the same label. Every catalog product ships unlabeled, and all 12 soap bars count toward one volume tier.
Can you make my own tallow balm or soap recipe?
Yes. A custom formula starts with a $250 pilot: one pilot batch, up to two samples, and one revision round. You approve the INCI declaration, measured pH, and specifications, then place an order of 200 bars, or 200 units for balm. See custom tallow balm and custom tallow soap.
Do you sell bulk tallow for the products I make?
Yes, in 7 lb buckets and 35 lb blocks. Bulk Suet Tallow is $30 a bucket, and Bulk Grass-Fed Grass-Finished Suet Tallow is $36.75. Both are dry-rendered, food-grade, never bleached or deodorized, and have no additives. See bulk tallow.
What can I claim about your tallow on my label?
For our tallow soap and body care, you can say they’re made with pasture-raised, grass-fed, grass-finished tallow from small family farms, that the tallow is dry-rendered and food-grade with no additives, and that the products are palm-free and handcrafted in the USA. Leave organic and skin or health claims off. Bulk tallow claims differ, so check our tallow standard.
Is there a minimum order?
Only on lip balm, which starts at 50 tubes in any mix of flavors. Every other catalog product has none, bulk tallow included. A custom formula needs an order of 200 bars, 200 units for balm, or 400 tubes for lip balm.
Can you ship orders straight to my customers?
Yes, through TallowPal, our no-minimum app. Orders sync from your store, and our production team labels and ships each one under your brand. Each order costs the unit price, label included, plus the actual shipping label. See dropshipping.
How long until an order ships?
It depends on the product and quantity. Soap bars can ship before they finish curing, so they reach you sooner; we recommend 2 to 4 weeks of curing from the production date before you sell them. See our Production and Curing Policy, and ask us before you order if you have a date in mind.
