How do I order samples?
Add them to your cart and check out, like any order. Use the sample list above, or choose Sample (2 oz) on any soap page or Sample (1 oz) on the lotion page. Shipping is calculated at checkout, before you pay.
Are samples free?
No. Soap and lotion samples are $3 each, plus shipping. Other products have no sample size, so you order one at its listed price.
Do specialty scents cost more to sample?
No. Lavender, Woodsy, Citrus & Lemon, and Coffee are $3 as 2 oz samples, like every other scent.
Do samples count toward volume pricing?
No. Samples are $3 each at any quantity. They never count toward your bar count and never get volume prices.
Is there a limit on samples?
No. Order as many samples as you like, in as many scents as you like.
Can I add samples to a regular order?
Yes. Samples can go in the same cart as full-size products and ship together, or you can order samples on their own.
Can I test a full-size soap bar?
Yes. Order a single 4 oz bar online, from $4.80. It is the best way to check your label and box size before you print.
Can I sample a custom formula?
Yes, through the custom pilot. It is $250 per formula and includes one pilot batch, up to two physical samples, and one revision round with up to two revised samples.
Can I try bulk tallow?
Yes. The smallest order is one 7 lb bucket: $30 for Bulk Suet Tallow, or $36.75 for Bulk Grass-Fed Grass-Finished Suet Tallow. See bulk tallow. Shipping is calculated at checkout, like any order.
